I really enjoyed this show - I don't recall actually gasping from fright/being startled in a long time (when it was intentional!). The use of the space and the spartan set (none, save for the fantastic lighting) were wonderful. I loved how it was told in the fashion of a good scary story by the fireplace, the way it would have been generations past...when one had to use their imagination along with the telling of the play as a tale.

I really enjoyed the switch of Frankenstein as a female...it made the creation/birth of the monster (and her subsequent dismissal of the creature) all the more meaningful to me.

It was great to see Aulisi again after a strong performance in "Any Day Now" last year - and the entire cast was great. It was such a treat!

Definitely a recommended play to see!!!
