Town Hall’s sixth annual Summer Broadway Festival — created, written, and hosted by Scott Siegel — concludes Monday, July 30 with Broadway favorite and Tony nominee Liz Callaway in concert with three Broadway’s leading men, Even Stephen.

Callaway [sister of jazz recording artist Ann Hampton Callaway], long considered a popular cabaret and concert artist, was Tony-nominated for a 1984 Tony as Best Featured Actress in a Musical for Baby.

In addition to co-starring in the megamusical Miss Saigon, she was also nominated for a 2002 Drama Desk Award as Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical for The Spitfire Grill.

Her concert features the music of three favorite composers, all with the first name Stephen: Flaherty, Schwartz, and Sondheim. She’ll be joined by three Broadway leading men: Jason Danieley (Curtains), Tony nominee Joshua Henry (Scottsboro Boys; currently in Porgy and Bess), Tony nominee Norm Lewis (title role, Porgy and Bess), and surprise guests.

Tickets for Liz Callaway Even Stephen are $55. Purchase at the Town Hall box office, 123 West 43d Street, through TicketMaster.com, or by calling (800) 982-2787. For more information, visit www.the-townhall-nyc.org.

I love Rob. I really do. But the role of Johnny is NOT for him. I’ve seen the musacil 7 times and John Gallagher Jr. should be the ONLY one to have that role and if not him then Van Hughes. Rob’s voice wouldn’t fit the part and to be honest, I don’t think he would fit the part. I hope they hire the original Broadway cast to reprise their roles for the movie!
